We’ve seen many YouTubers (including very popular ones) who have links to their websites and Facebook pages in the description but don’t include a link to the product(s) they discuss. When an affiliate link adds value, don’t be shy about giving people opportunities to click on it. If you have content on your site, your social channels and your YouTube channel that is complemented by certain affiliate links, include those links in all of those places.

If a company has a 60-day cookie, it means that if I click on your affiliate link and go to that site but don't purchase anything during that visit, I can go to that website directly (without using your link again) and if I make a purchase within 60 days, it will credit to you. This cookie is only good on the device I initially use your link on. So if I first click through your link on my phone, but then go home and visit the website directly from my computer, the cookie isn't tracking it because the cookie was on my phone.

Let’s say you’re promoting ConvertKit as an affiliate of their system. Instead of doing a video where you’re constantly saying “buy ConvertKit through my link”, you may do a video titled, “How to Use Email Marketing to Double Your Revenue”. Then as an asset and tool in that video and process, you mention ConvertKit and that the viewer can get their first 30 days free by using the link in the comments.
Affiliate links have become easy to spot, and this may turn off potential traffic within your audience by way of feeling “sketchy” or like you’re pulling one over on them. Rather than using just your affiliate link, create a redirect link that looks a bit simpler and cleaner, and therefore more attractive for those clicks. A clean and simple link is a link that will be more enticing to click.
Amazon has a wide-range of products for you to promote, and you can always create affiliate links for those products. Don’t skip this step, because this is what will make you money. If you forget to promote the products using your affiliate links, but instead, you are promoting the product directly using the product link, then you will not get the percentage of any sales that come from your link. So, be sure that before promoting any products, you should create affiliate links for it. Only then will you be able to make money from your promotion.

The bulk of the offers that I promote pay around $20-$40 per lead, but there are others that pay more and less. However, you don't want to get caught up solely on what an offer pays because how well it converts is just as important. For example, if you have an offer that pays $9, but if it converts at 2X or more of a $20 offer, then it will perform about the same and possibly better. At the same time, if you have an offer that pays $90 and it converts poorly, it may not even be worth promoting.
