The easiest way is to recommend products (mentioned in your video) using affiliate links. When someone purchases a product through your affiliate link, you get a commission from the sale. You’re basically promoting someone else’s product for a commission. I make $1,000/month doing this and it’s my second largest source of income next to SEO consulting.

Of course, Twitter has its own peculiarities. I assume you are aware that Twitter limits you in the number of characters you can use – right now the limit is 280 characters. You have to find a way to be natural and genuine and fit in your affiliate link. That’s where URL shorteners come into play. Besides, more often than not, affiliate links are long and contain different numbers and random letters which makes them look less trustworthy. URL shorteners can make your link look more appealing. If you’re an Amazon affiliate, they have an inbuilt link shortener, so you’re good. If not, use TinyURL – it’s one of the few shorteners that allow affiliate links.

PS.Since I’m a big advocate of Clickbank affiliate marketing but I have include Shareasale marketplace instead of Clickbank here. Just because, I have tried many times to promote some products from both of the networks and each time found success with Shareasale affiliate links. Pinterest did not allow to embed an affiliate link from Clickbank. (It is might be because of the nature of Clickbank Hoplinks)
Leadpages also offers an option for affiliates to send referrals to attend a Leadpages webinar with standard commissions paid for any sale generated from the webinar. However, Leadpages requires you to get at least 150 people to sign up (but not necessarily attend) each webinar. Leadpages also offers affiliates the ability to view blog posts and videos on Leadpages’s site, again with the standard commission paid for any sales.
I would suggest buying a custom domain to integrate with your shopify store. Remember you can easily setup the store and also import products from Aliexpress. Make use of plugins and apps such as Oberlo, and Kit to assist you in your campaigns. The good thing is you can test run and even setup the whole store without spending a dime to see how it goes.
Along with that, Amazon is a complete SELLING MACHINE! What I mean by that, is they have drilled their conversion rates down to the last detail. Typically I can convert traffic I send to Amazon from my affiliate sites around 12%. The reason why it works so well is that the moment people land on Amazon, they are automatically switched into "buyer mode". Meaning, they know the only thing left for them to do is BUY. What that means, is all you have to do is get people to Amazon's site, and they literally do the selling for you.
From what I’ve read, and from what Tasha has answered in other comments above, it seems like Amazon themselves give contradictory information. In one of Tasha’s previous answers she says, “Hi Tim! I’ve talked to Amazon about this as well, as have many other bloggers I know personally. Each one of us is getting different answers. It’s VERY frustrating. Many have been told as long as their Pinterest account is listed in their profile, it’s fine. For those that haven’t, I’ve pointed out during my calls to Amazon that you can pin Amazon affiliate products directly to Pinterest from the rewardStyle interface, so it’s silly for them to tell anyone that they can’t do it directly from their Amazon Associates account. But of course, with Amazon giving different bloggers different answers, you have to do what you are comfortable with. Or, if in doubt, pin Amazon products via rewardStyle if you are a member 🙂 Hope that helps.”
A lot of people don't get Twitter. Perhaps they're put off engagement on the network by the endless slew of negative news about the activities of trolls (abusive people), sending angry, upsetting or annoying messages to other Twitter users. However, to really use social media to its maximum in promoting your affiliate programs, you need to be on Twitter, as we explored previously.
Early on in my stay, I was assigned the Affiliate Marketing beat, and I found that one of the best ways to familiarize myself with the industry in an efficient manner was through social media, specifically Twitter. I had bookmarked a ton of blogs and affiliate network websites, but it was the simple act of following various Twitter accounts (and occasionally talking with them through direct messages) that really helped me get a feel for the world of performance marketing.
I’ve been pretty intentional about what types of products that I share with my audience, but one thing that I struggled with is that I didn’t want to come off as “salesy.” Because of this I included less affiliate links in posts or avoided different types of posts that I thought would be too pushy. However, it turns out using my affiliate links made it more convenient for my audience. Plus, the tutorial posts and roundup posts that do so well in affiliate marketing still can be super helpful and add value for your readers.
The key, if you want to use Twitter for marketing, is to be as concise as possible. This doesn’t mean using a lot of ‘internet speak’ and acronyms, it means getting straight to the point when you post an update. There is no set rule for how many tweets you should send and how many should feature an affiliate link. When you post a link to Twitter you expect people to click on it but doing this all day, every day will only put people off.

My policy with affiliate marketing is to only recommend products that I have used or have had someone close to me who I trust use and recommend. This is again something that will add weight to your recommendation and increase conversion – but it’ll also help your reputation and stop you from promoting products that are rubbish. Recommend a product that doesn’t work and your own reputation and any trust you’ve built up with those who follow your advice will suffer. Don’t sacrifice your own brand for the sake of a few quick dollars.

This is fascinating to me….. never, ever, ever in a million years would I have thought I’d even *consider* starting a blog but in recent years I have also dreamt of staying home with my kids (I’m also a nurse!!)
