When providing affiliate links, you want to do is discreetly but also so that the user will actually see it. You can place links in your description (mention this in your video) or even put annotations in your videos for people to click. I wouldn't spam your videos with links, otherwise people will just see you videos as pushy and trying to sell something. The best way is to appear genuine and honest.
If I were a member of a group board called “Beautiful Home Decor” that was created for bloggers to share their blog posts, I would feel free to pin an image from a post of mine called “10 Beautiful Couches that Won’t Break the Bank.” Of course, that blog post would contain affiliate links. But, I would never pin an image of a couch with my affiliate to a group board called “Beautiful Home Decor” that I am a member of, since that is not the purpose of the board.

First, you should feel free to pin relevant affiliate content to your EXISTING personal boards that are filled with mostly substantive content from other blogs. For example, I will pin a beautiful rug from Target to my personal board called “Rugs and Windows.” That board contains mostly DIY tutorials from other bloggers, but certainly the people who follow it are interested in rugs and window treatments, so they will likely also be interested in rugs that are available for purchase.
First, let me emphasize that I feel strongly that bloggers should not go overboard when sharing affiliate links on Pinterest. Think about it… When you scroll through your Pinterest feed, do you want to only see products for sale? Probably not. So exercise your judgment and make sure that affiliate links are a small percentage of the content that you share on Pinterest.
Nordstrom Rack’s recent partnership with Shopping Links is an outstanding example how influencer marketing can be coupled with affiliate marketing to drive not only brand awareness but also traffic and sales. By utilizing the Shopping Links Influencer marketplace, Nordstrom Rack was able to simplify the process of identifying and gifting influencers at scale. A lot of people don't get Twitter. Perhaps they're put off engagement on the network by the endless slew of negative news about the activities of trolls (abusive people), sending angry, upsetting or annoying messages to other Twitter users. However, to really use social media to its maximum in promoting your affiliate programs, you need to be on Twitter, as we explored previously.

You have to remember that on Twitter, you only have 140 characters to work with. (At least for now–who knows what will happen with this 280 character limit in the works.) Your link takes up 23 characters of your tweet, even when you don’t use a link shortener, so you have 117 to say what you want to about the product and disclose that it’s an affiliate link. So you need to be short, sweet, and to the point.
Your bio should be a very short description about who you are and what you do. Don’t try to attract everyone, rather, go after your target audience. Aside from Twitter being just a numbers game, it is also a game of attracting the RIGHT people. If you have a website you are promoting about dogs, you don’t care about people who have pet birds. So don’t make your bio about “pets”. Make it about dogs specifically (or even a specific breed of dog). It’s always better to start too narrow and broaden over time than to start too broad and have to narrow down later. You’ve got less than 1 minute for your bio to convince others to follow you, so make it good!

          The quality of your photos can make or break your pin’s success. As new bloggers, we’re all cash-strapped, this is one area where you can’t be cheap. Don’t underestimate the power of professional quality images! I use Deposit Photos to source all my images for pins. Typically, I’ll search for images like “feminine computer desk” or “workspace with flowers.”
Multiple Twitter Identities.  We have noticed that affiliates using Twitter often maintain multiple Twitter identities.  Based on data pulled for the second week in November 2011, 75% of the affiliates found on Twitter maintain more than one Twitter alias. They do this for several reasons:  to re-tweet their own posts under different user names in order to drive up a tweet’s popularity; to tweet the same thing over again without appearing redundant; and to follow themselves to ‘seed’ a follower list.
Affiliate marketing is a process wherein you promote another company’s products or services and when sales increase, you earn a commission. Depending on the efficiency of your marketing skills, you can achieve great sales targets and ultimately make more money. Revenue is generated in affiliate marketing only after a specific action is performed. This action needs to be completed by a sale and only then will you get your payment.

Affiliate marketing is about the here-and-now, and nothing is ever set in stone in an industry revolving around online advertising. For this reason, you shouldn't be afraid of using instantaneous communication tools like Twitter for the kinds of promotions that are only open for a short time. When you do, make sure you tweet the advertiser in your tweet. This way, you might get a retweet and increase your traffic!
