What could be better? Until they invent “no-click” integration, we have absolutely no idea. Here’s how to Shopify affiliate and referral tracking—along with everything else—in just a few short steps.
Content marketing strategy should be your first priority. Content is the base foundation for any product or service. It behaves like a life-saving drug for any product. There will be no traffic on your page if your content is not interesting or effective. If you compromise with your content and only think about making money online, you will lose viewers on your page.

This really comes down to smart selection of products to recommend – make sure that they are the best!
JVZoo was founded in 2011 and has since rocketed to near the top as one of the most popular affiliate programs out there. JVZoo is unusual in that there are no upfront costs for either publishers or merchants (advertisers). JVZoo’s income is exclusively from charging fees (to both the merchant and the affiliate) after a sale has been made. It is also unusual in that it pays commissions “instantly” via PayPal rather than once a week/fortnight/month like other affiliate programs.
If you think about the shares you see on Facebook and Twitter, they often have a “newsy” component to them. So I like to give our affiliates the inside scoop on what’s new, and update our social sharing content at the same time so that they have something unique to share (and our commission-based public relations team hits the social media streets on our behalf!)
Tip 4: If you're a beginner, it's important that you realize it make take more than a few days before you start making sales. While it is possible to earn affiliate commissions with Amazon within a few days of creating a campaign, realistically you shouldn't expect to start making sales within the first 14-30 days. It takes time for your website to carve out a space on the internet. However, if you are determined and post 1 new blog post and 1 new video each day for your first 30 days, you hold a way higher chance of earning affiliate commissions within the first 30 days.

This is the first tip for making money with YouTube videos and affiliate links that you should follow if you are going to use the Amazon Marketplace. Remember that the affiliate links for the products that you promote on Amazon can be really long and will be pretty ugly if you put it on your video description. That’s why you should shorten your affiliate link to make it simpler and easier for people to click on it.If you choose to participate in the Amazon affiliate program, you should only use the link shortener provided by Amazon, not other link shortening services like bit.ly or private link shorteners like VTO.io. If you are participating in an affiliate program from other merchants, you should use the link shortener provided by them, if one is available.
JVZoo lets you both host and create landing pages on their own website, so it’s far better suited for professional marketers who want to flood the internet with offers, many of them for courses to make money. You don’t need your own website to participate in JVZoo, but you will need to know how to drive traffic to a landing or squeeze page in order to profit from being a JVZoo affiliate.
The tricky thing with Instagram is that it doesn’t allow links in your posts. I mean, you can put a link in your post, it just won’t work. Of course, you can tell your audience to copy and paste, but that would mean they have to copy the link, close Instagram, go to their browser… Too much work! It’s much easier to click a link and be done with it.
Let’s say you’re promoting ConvertKit as an affiliate of their system. Instead of doing a video where you’re constantly saying “buy ConvertKit through my link”, you may do a video titled, “How to Use Email Marketing to Double Your Revenue”. Then as an asset and tool in that video and process, you mention ConvertKit and that the viewer can get their first 30 days free by using the link in the comments.
Provide Customer Service. This might not make your company money directly, but there’s a huge opportunity to build goodwill and customer loyalty (and therefore future revenue) by using Twitter as a tool to provide quick customer service. It is also useful to consider whether your products have varying markups as you come up with your default commission rates. This is because you might want to incentivize your affiliates to generate more sales on products that are already earning you higher profits. If you want to create a set rate instead, you’ll want to find a percentage that takes your varying markup rates into consideration. Instead of creating a single set commission rate, some affiliate marketers opt for a tier system where different commission rates are assigned to different product categories.

One of the major attractions of Amazon’s affiliate program is the large selection of products to promote. Marketers from different niches can easily join with the fast approval time. The site also has good commission rates, going up to 10%. The commission applies to all purchases made using the referral link and not just the product you linked to. This increases the income potential, which is why many YouTubers like the program.

Over the weekend I learned that my neighbor wants to become an affiliate marketer. He’s a contractor. In recent years, Instagram became The Place for affiliate marketing. You may believe that Instagram is only meant for visual products like clothes and make-up, but you’ll be surprised to learn that the biggest Instagram influencer is @dailydose – an account that mostly posts inspirational and motivational quotes. Anytime I've needed help, the support team has responded back within a few hours, and I've never had any hangups with the software. Affiliatly is one of the first places I recommend looking for new store owners.
One big difference between SkimLinks and VigLinks, however, is that once you’re approved by the company, you can choose to work with any merchant or program on its platform. SkimLinks has also published a white paper discussing its partnership with Buzzfeed, giving SkimLinks a lot of credibility. SkimLinks also has a higher tier of vetted merchants called “Preferred Partner” and “VIP” that both pay higher commissions than standard merchants.
Hootsuite and Buffer are multi-platform applications with which you can plan when to post things through scheduling them, and decide to which channel each post should go. Both offer advice as to when the best time is to post, or let you decide for yourself.Most of the biggest social networks are covered by both, although as they are freemium (some features are free, some paid), you'll need to decide what core features you need in order to promote your site and brands on social media. I’ve been pretty intentional about what types of products that I share with my audience, but one thing that I struggled with is that I didn’t want to come off as “salesy.” Because of this I included less affiliate links in posts or avoided different types of posts that I thought would be too pushy. However, it turns out using my affiliate links made it more convenient for my audience. Plus, the tutorial posts and roundup posts that do so well in affiliate marketing still can be super helpful and add value for your readers.

I like them all for different reasons and its up to do which ones you choose they all cover the basics but I would say Makingsense of affiliate marketing probably is the most in-depth and comprehensive but it depends on how much you want to go into it each has different tips but essentially each course covers the basics.

At that level, their fee structure becomes very attractive because you're only paying incrementally for sales, and not for traffic, whereas many other apps charge based on the number of visits regardless of where they originate from. Whereas if you're a high volume low ticket store, you might prefer paying for traffic and getting unlimited sales.

There are many affiliate programs in which you can participate – for instance, Amazon and Apple Store have affiliate programs that allows you to earn commission by promoting their products.
PS.Since I’m a big advocate of Clickbank affiliate marketing but I have include Shareasale marketplace instead of Clickbank here. Just because, I have tried many times to promote some products from both of the networks and each time found success with Shareasale affiliate links. Pinterest did not allow to embed an affiliate link from Clickbank. (It is might be because of the nature of Clickbank Hoplinks)
You should also re-tweet interesting information related to your industry, share cool videos, or anything useful. Write a description using your main target long-tail keyword and 2-3 related keywords from the search results. With a regular pin, your main target keyword should be in your blog post title. meta description, pin title, and pin description. Affiliate pins don’t have a blog post title or meta description so you just need to focus on the pin title and pin description. This below is my affiliate description. Notice how I effortlessly weave in the keywords? After writing your description, read it over and make sure it sounds natural. Below, I used #affiliate, but now I use #ad to be more explicit.
My audience is entrepreneurs, people who own their own business and want to use video to better market that business. It would make ZERO sense for me to randomly speak about a kitchen organizer and link an affiliate link to that on my channel – but – it would make #allthesense for me to include a small testimonial for a new app I’m loving for business and include an affiliate link.
Shopify is probably the most popular e-commerce solutions provider out there, but because there are so many products and options, newcomers can easily get confused. If you believe your audience has products to sell and could benefit from Shopify’s products and are able to elucidate the benefits of signing up for Shopify, you can definitely earn some big money with their affiliate program.
I try to personally just err on the side of being as transparent as possible about my relationship with the brand. So if they gave me a free product, and I’m not getting compensated for it, I’ll just say that. If it’s an affiliate relationship, like they have no idea who I am, that I’m even talking about it, but I do get a small percentage of the sale, thank you. I just try personally just to be– because trust is the main thing, like currency with your viewers that is most important. And anything that could kind of potentially violate that, personally I’m just like, I want to be completely up front with you guys about everything, whatever’s going on, so there’s no questions. And you guys can always feel like you can trust what I’m saying.
