If you want to go deeper, again, social media listening is your friend. I mentioned Twitter above as a platform where you’re welcome to interact with strangers. Set up your queries in such a way that you’ll be able to find relevant conversations. For example, if you’re promoting an app to enhance productivity, set up such queries as “how to improve productivity”, “productivity hacks”, “apps for productivity” and anything else that your brain can come up with. You can do the same for your blog. With a Boolean search mode, you’ll be able to customize your queries to find people who’re looking for recommendations, conducting market research or even complaining about competing products. Once you found these posts, you can offer them a solution with your affiliate link (again, be nice and natural).
Affiliate networks, often considered among some of the best affiliate programs, are marketplaces where ecommerce entrepreneurs can find affiliates to promote their products. While these networks make it a bit easier to find affiliates, some also charge monthly fees, which might not make them as suitable for early stage entrepreneurs. Others take a cut of your sales, which still gives you guaranteed positive ROI as a store owner. Some affiliate networks include Share-a-Sale, Tapgerine, Commission Junction, AffiliatePrograms.com, and LinkShare.
Multiple Twitter Identities.  We have noticed that affiliates using Twitter often maintain multiple Twitter identities.  Based on data pulled for the second week in November 2011, 75% of the affiliates found on Twitter maintain more than one Twitter alias. They do this for several reasons:  to re-tweet their own posts under different user names in order to drive up a tweet’s popularity; to tweet the same thing over again without appearing redundant; and to follow themselves to ‘seed’ a follower list.

I’d stick with Amazon if I were you. All of my Amazon sites only have Amazon affiliate links. If you use Google Adsense display ads on your site, you’re literally taking people away from your site for the sake of just a few cents with these type of ads. If you direct them just to Amazon, then you have a greater chance of earning more money from that click.
One of the most efficient ways to get more followers or even increase clicks on a certain piece of content, is to run paid search to your Instagram page through Google Adwords. The best way to do this is to continuously analyze your conversion rate and budget, and then execute your keyword research properly. When people enter one of your keywords, your site will pop up in the top results as a sponsored link. This ensures your site gains traction and visibility from people who are actively searching for keywords relating to your business and affiliate strategy. The benefit to this strategy is that it’s a form of native advertising, so this paid search link will appear as an organic search result, thus earning you clicks from searchers.

Enthusiasm. You don’t need to be bubbly and happy throughout your video — you should be yourself. But you should not speak in one tone and completely deadpan. Try to get people excited about whatever it is you’re video is about. Think of the things YOU like to see in YouTube videos and then try to do that the best you can. Remember, you will never please everyone, but you don’t have to.

The cost of this item depends on the quality of footage you want to take; these days you can buy cameras which shoot 4k footage, but you may only want standard HD. If you’re running WordPress, I use a plugin called Thirsty Affiliates to cloak, manage, and track my affiliate links (you have to pay Thirsty Affiliates for their add-ons if you want extra features). Hi Peter, I personally have never tried promoted pins on Pinterest but it’s on my to-do list. I’ve heard mixed reviews (they made some changes back in June or July on ads that seem to favour bigger companies). I have heard however that if you promote a pin, your whole account gets a bit of a lift. I would definitely recommend giving it a go with a small dollar amount to see if it works, I think I will try too and will report back!

I would not ever tweet specifically to sell a product, I don’t think there’s enough money to be made to justify that kind of annoying behavior. On the other hand I frequently tweet books I’m reading if I find them interesting.
