It is important to note, however, that StudioPress is now a subsidiary of WPEngine which is the company that actually does the web hosting on which StudioPress’s Genesis framework runs. The affiliate program only works with choosing the StudioPress framework and themes, not the actual hosting on WPEngine. WPEngine has a separate affiliate program for its hosting services, which yes, is a bit confusing.

Everyone likes a compliment. In fact, people like compliments so much they usually share it with their friends and followers! Use this to your advantage. It’s important for you to know who the big players are in your niche. For example, my website is about affiliate marketing. There are literally 10’s of thousands of affiliate marketers that are earning a full-time living. I could create a blog post about “The 10 Most Successful Affiliate Marketers In 2014” or “Affiliate Marketers Who Inspired Me” or any other list I decide to create. Once I’ve written an article and put it on my site, I can share it all over my social media accounts. But here’s the kicker – I would also send a message to all the affiliate marketers on my list with a link to the article. Just about every one of them will share it with their followers. Doing this on a regular basis can literally send thousands (even tens or hundreds of thousands) of visitors to your website every month while simultaneously helping to build your own following.


Affiliate links have become easy to spot, and this may turn off potential traffic within your audience by way of feeling “sketchy” or like you’re pulling one over on them. Rather than using just your affiliate link, create a redirect link that looks a bit simpler and cleaner, and therefore more attractive for those clicks. A clean and simple link is a link that will be more enticing to click.
The most important rule you need to remember when adding affiliate links is to mention that it is an affiliate link. In your pin descriptions, Pinterest urges you to always disclose that it is an affiliate link and affiliate networks require it. You can write this within your description or use #affiliate at the end of your description. This needs to be done in order to follow affiliate networks rules and abide by FTC regulations.
Let’s say you’re promoting ConvertKit as an affiliate of their system. Instead of doing a video where you’re constantly saying “buy ConvertKit through my link”, you may do a video titled, “How to Use Email Marketing to Double Your Revenue”. Then as an asset and tool in that video and process, you mention ConvertKit and that the viewer can get their first 30 days free by using the link in the comments.

Hootsuite and Buffer are multi-platform applications with which you can plan when to post things through scheduling them, and decide to which channel each post should go. Both offer advice as to when the best time is to post, or let you decide for yourself.Most of the biggest social networks are covered by both, although as they are freemium (some features are free, some paid), you'll need to decide what core features you need in order to promote your site and brands on social media. For a small-scale affiliate with a few stories per week and two or three social channels, the free versions of Buffer and Hootsuite are probably sufficient.
I find this post extremely helpful. I have found that most affiliate marketers use the marketing tactics that they are taught in the program to which they belong. Most of these strategies are wrong, wrong, wrong. Once you start to gain a small following, share things that are irresistible. If you don’t have a blog or website yet, get one. You can create all sorts of interesting content that your following will love. Top 10 lists are huge. If you do nothing else but create top 10 lists related to your industry and share it with your targeted following, you will gain traffic to your blog, your information will get re-tweeted and shared, and you will watch the number of followers you have climb even higher. And remember, you can tweet about an article many times. Twitter is a very “in the now” type of platform and most people will never realize you posted to the same article 5 times in the same week.

Creating a Shopify store, filling it up with products and setting everything up can now be done within few hours. It doesn't take much time but just a little investment. Then comes the next part - Advertising your store. You'll again have to spend some bucks but the best part is you will see sales and income soon.

Become an iTunes Affiliate. Apple has an affiliate program that allows affiliate marketers to earn 4% to 5% commission of the sale of songs on iTunes that come from their affiliate links. iTunes has historically accounted for a significant portion of affiliate marketing activity on Twitter, and a number of individuals have had success with this affiliate program across various platforms.
Amazon is the staple affiliate program for any youtuber, and generally the first one every new youtuber with any traction signs up for, so of course it has to be included on the list. It's super easy and free to join, and requires little to no approval. You can then choose for yourself from the amazon database what products to advertise to your audients and then earn up to 10% in advertising fees. A lot of youtubers put Amazon affiliate links in for their camera and setup equipment, as well as any makeup, clothes or gadgets they may be wearing in the video, without ever having to mention the products themselves.

If you’re using an affiliate network, the right affiliates will be able to easily find you through the built-in search feature. For example, a simple search for the word “apparel” on AffiliatePrograms.com produces a variety of search results about the best affiliate programs for 2017 under that category, along with reviews. Also, feel free to niche down your search into ‘running’ or ‘crossfit’ to pinpoint a few affiliates who understand your customer base well. They may have a blog that caters to your specific target audience.

Besides your images, keywords are the other major make or break factor for your pins. Spend some time to identify 2-3 relevant keywords that people would use to search for the problem you’re solving. Focus on just one target keyword phrase that you absolutely want to rank for. Then add one or two other related keywords. To figure out what keywords to choose, put yourself in the shoes of your target audience. What would they search in order to find a solution to the problem your affiliate product solves?
Creating quality content means something different for each industry and brand — whether it’s an engaging post on Facebook, an informative tweet or a beautiful looking picture (with a filter of course!) on Instagram. There are as many ways that social media can be leveraged for affiliate marketing as there are companies willing to make those connections.

It's the same with affiliate marketing on Twitter. The bulk of the offers that I promote pay around $20-$40 per lead, but there are others that pay more and less. However, you don't want to get caught up solely on what an offer pays because how well it converts is just as important. For example, if you have an offer that pays $9, but if it converts at 2X or more of a $20 offer, then it will perform about the same and possibly better. At the same time, if you have an offer that pays $90 and it converts poorly, it may not even be worth promoting.
